Acquire a unique blend of expertise in management and data engineering to meet new business needs.
The BBA Data, AI & Management prepares students to take on cross-functional management positions. They will acquire both strong managerial skills (finance, management, marketing, strategy) and advanced technical skills in the collection, analysis, and use of data for business performance.
Jointly developed by Audencia and Centrale Nantes, this course draws on the academic excellence of both institutions to offer a program with a strong international (two mandatory study abroad semesters in Morocco and China) and professional focus (12 months of mandatory internships in France or abroad).
The exponential growth in the production of Big Data reinforces the strategic nature of its collection and analysis at the service of operational and strategic decision-making, especially in real time. As a creator of value, data affects all sectors of the economy and all business functions: customer consumption analysis, advertising targeting, service personalization, risk management, medical research, climate change monitoring, and more. A wealth of information that we need to know how to collect, process, and analyze in order to anticipate trends and inform decisions.
In this context, the mission of the Big Data & Management BBA program, supported by Centrale Nantes and Audencia, is to train hybrid managers with a strong international outlook and a high level of expertise in all dimensions of management (finance, management, marketing, strategy) and to provide them with scientific and technical skills in the collection, analysis and use of data to serve business performance.
The key strength of the BBA Big Data & Management lies in the fact that it is delivered by two top-ranked institutions with recognized faculty in the two main areas covered by this program, management and big data. Choosing the BBA Big Data & Management means choosing to acquire advanced expertise for assured employability in a fast-changing economy looking for young hybrid graduates..

Established in 2013, the fundamental partnership between Audencia and Centrale Nantes aims to make progress in teaching, research, engineering and management. It also seeks to strengthen international links and industrial partnerships through an innovative approach.
The first year is dedicated to acquiring fundamental knowledge in Management and Big Data. The courses are coordinated by the 2 schools. Each school is responsible for teaching in its own area of expertise.
The first semester is devoted to consolidating the fundamentals acquired in the first year in the fields of business and engineering. Courses remain coordinated between the 2 schools
The first semester focuses on advanced instruction for the business portion of the program. Classes are taught exclusively by Audencia faculty and take place at the Shenzhen campus in China (or at a partner university).
The 1st semester allows students to work on new concrete projects to apply the skills acquired during the first 3 years. Classes are again co-directed and co-taught by teachers from both schools.
Each student in the Big Data & Management BBA completes 3 internships during the academic curriculum. This gives you the opportunity to gain 12 months of experience in a company.
The year ends with a 3-month internship in an international or French company. Its vocation is to work on the openness and adaptability of the students.
The objective of this 3-month internship is to carry out an in-depth diagnosis of a problem related to a mission carried out by the student in a company and to formulate recommendations.
The final internship or end-of-studies project takes place over a 6-month period during the 8th semester.
This is a project-based internship where students aim to carry out and complete a project independently. At the end of this internship, students will produce an internship report that must integrate a research approach by defining a problem, a methodology for addressing the problem, and a literature review.

With the development of new technologies, the Internet and social networks over the last twenty years, the production of digital data has exploded: texts, photos, videos, online transactions, GPS signals, etc. The vast amount of digital data produced, combined with ever-increasing storage capacity and increasingly sophisticated real-time analysis tools, now offers unparalleled opportunities for information exploitation.
The amount of data created, captured, copied, and consumed worldwide is expected to exceed 180 zettabytes by 2025.

Audencia and Centrale Nantes have created a synergy that allows them to pool their material and learning resources. Students have access to all the schools' campuses in France and abroad, media libraries, laboratories, corporate and alumni networks...
The Audencia Atlantic Campus and Centrale Nantes sites are located in the heart of one of the city's main university campuses, close to each other and less than a quarter of an hour from downtown Nantes.
Audencia offers 18,000 m2 of diverse, modular classrooms. Each classroom is equipped to adapt to the teaching mode and group work (video projector, audio speakers). The school also has mobile audiovisual and IT resources (digital camcorders, TVs, DVD players, tablet computers).
Centrale Nantes displays nearly 40,000 m2 present on a 16-hectare campus and comprises 17 buildings. In addition to the standard facilities of a university campus (classrooms, media library, computer rooms...), it boasts technological platforms unique in France, modern and varied sports facilities, the incubator common to the 3 Alliance schools (-Centrale- Audencia- Ensa) and an extremely rich student life.
The Centrale-Audencia-Ensa business incubator is an entrepreneurial support program that aims to create innovative companies in the Pays de la Loire region.
The synergy, unique in France, of three nationally and internationally recognized teaching and research institutions in the fields of engineering, management, communication, design and architecture allows the incubated projects to benefit from exceptional development conditions. The Centrale-Audencia-Ensa incubator is an integral part of the dynamism of the Nantes and Loire regions, through its strong involvement in a particularly innovative and entrepreneurial ecosystem.
As part of the Pays de la Loire Region's Connect Talent project, a supercomputer has been installed at Centrale Nantes since late 2015, making it one of the most powerful regional data centers in France in its class (Tier2 class). A state-of-the-art facility, it provides access to unprecedented levels of precision, changing the game and unlocking new potential for innovation.
Intensive digital computing is an indispensable tool for research and industry alike: it reduces the cost of testing, facilitates optimization and encourages creativity and the exploration of new solutions. Computing resources are also an indicator of a region's or a nation's research and development.
High-Performance Computing (HPC) involves the use of acquisition, modeling, or analysis software on supercomputers with thousands of processors capable of performing billions of operations per second to model complex phenomena or process or qualify large amounts of data. They are also a set of servers designed to run long-running processes to compute programs massively and intensively. These supercomputers can be seen as a large number of machines (computing servers) connected by very fast networks.
The Centrale Nantes is the only higher education institution in France to have such a powerful supercomputer available to the public.
In line with its three founding values - Innovation, Collaboration and Responsibility - Audencia's social policy places the fight against all forms of discrimination related to age, gender, origin, disability or any other personal characteristic at the heart of its policy and encourages the integration of learners regardless of these attributes.
In particular, Audencia is committed to meeting accessibility standards for people with disabilities in all our locations and to offering specially adapted training courses. For more information, please see our Disability Policy.
