Disability Scheme
Faced with an unemployment rate for people with disabilities that is almost twice the national average and the difficulty for companies to recruit candidates that meet their needs, Audencia is taking action.
Since September 2022, Audencia has launched its Disability Scheme, which supports more than one hundred students with disabilities each year, from their admission to Audencia to their professional integration. This support should enable every student with a disability to follow one of these courses, to fully realize their potential and to achieve their goals in the career path of their choice.
Adapted facilities
- Individual and personalized support
- Adjustment of entrance exams
- Campus Accessibility
- Course accommodations (adapted materials and support, distance learning, note takers, teaching aids, excused absences)
- Exam accommodations (extra time, rooms)
Financial aid
- Scholarships for students with RQTH (Recognition of the Status of Disabled Workers) of up to 10% of the student's tuition.
- International Mobility Grants to enable students with disabilities to complete their internship or semester abroad in the destination of their choice without their disability being an obstacle. This grant helps to cover disability-related expenses abroad.
- Raising disability awareness among Audencia staff and students through workshops, information sessions and awareness days.
- Adapted career counseling: internships, employability
- Accompaniment in setting up an RQTH file
- Developing a network of committed partner companies that promote the vocational integration of young people
