Biographie

Claire Champenois is Professor in Entrepreneurship at Audencia Business School with a strong focus on management and organizational perspectives.

She specializes on :

  • Managerial practices  and HRM in entrepreneurial organisations and start-ups,
  • Conflict management between entrepreneurs and their partners (especially venture-capitalists)
  • The collective representations and meanings of “start-up”, for example E. Macron “ Start-up Nation”
  • Entrepreneurship as practice approaches (Entrepreneurship-as-Practice; Entrepreneuring; Entrepreneurship as Organization-creation)
  • Social embeddedness / socialized approaches to entrepreneurship

Before writing a PhD, she graduated from H.E.C. Business School – Paris.

She worked as a journalist at l’Usine Nouvelle (in Biotechnology) and in a biotechnology start-up in Germany.
