Biographie
I am a full Professor (HDR) of Operations and Supply Chain Management at Audencia in France.
I have been a visiting professor at Texas A&M University and Texas Christian University in 2017-2018 and the University of Cyprus and the University of San Diego, USA in 2010-2011. I have developed and taught MBA and executive classes at several universties around the world.
I am a researcher, a teacher, and a consultant; a specialist in Operations and Supply Chain Management with a background and professional practice in Mechanical Engineering. I am a regular speaker in academic and business conventions and I have published 60 peer-reviewed journal articles leading international academic journals.
I started my career as a chief mechanical engineer of the national gas supply company of Greece. I hold a BSc / MSc degree in Mechanical Engineering, an MSc in Engineering Business Management and a PhD in Industrial and Business Studies. I served as a reservist lieutenant in the Hellenic AirForce.
My current research covers a wide area of Supply Chain Management phenomena: I am conducting research on topics such as supply chain sustainability, supply chain financing, digitalization of supply chains, supply chain risk management, supply chain innovation, and supplier performance management. I have conducted research and consulting work in oil and gas, defense and aerospace, professional services, food and agribusiness and telecommunications sectors.
