The MSc in Financial Analysis and Investment Management is built around the curriculum of the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst). It covers a wide set of topics in Corporate Finance, Financial Markets, Economics and Ethics. It is designed to help you to successfully prepare for the CFA Certification exams (Level 1 and 2), if you choose to take these exams.

Due to Audencia's affiliation with the CFA Institute, there is a limited number of scholarships which cover some of the CFA examination fees (subject to availability).

Students can also benefit from access to valuable financial data sources use by practitioners, notably the Bloomberg terminals in Audencia's Trading Room, as well as Refinitiv Eikon.

2-Year MSc in Financial Analysis & Investment Management

The MSc in Financial Analysis and Investment Management program is based on the CFA curriculum and is designed to prepare you successfully for levels 1 and 2 of the exam.
As a member of the MSc in Financial Analysis and Investment Management program, you may be eligible for scholarships that waive some or all of the CFA exam fees (limited number of scholarships available upon application).

As part of this program, a wide range of professional equipment is at your disposal! Take advantage of trading rooms equipped with free Bloomberg terminals to connect directly to the world's financial markets in real time.

You'll also be able to explore Refinitiv Eikon, a financial information platform that provides market data and analytical tools like a seasoned professional. From diagnosis and analysis to the development of financial and investment strategies, you'll learn to master all the levers of finance.

  • Be able to evaluate investment and financing decisions at the corporate level.
  • Understand economic indicators and their impact on financial markets and companies.
  • Be able to analyse and and interpret financial statements to evaluate the financial health of a company.
  • Develop an understanding of ethical behaviour and professional standards in the finance industry, including for individuals and for portfolio reporting purposes.
  • Create a foundation in up-to-date developments in finance, such as behavioural finance, the role of machine learning and fintech.

Admission criteria

Eligibility requirements for the 2-year MSc programs or Master in Management:

Proficiency in English as demonstrated by one of the following:

  • TOEFL iBT 84, TOEIC 650, IELTS 6.5 or Duolingo 100
  • English-taught undergraduate program
  • Native speaker

3-year or 4-year degree in any field

Note that you can apply during the last year of your Bachelor’s studies.

Equivalences and Bridges

It is possible to transfer to a university or other business school (rare, but possible). Equivalencies are determined by the institutions to which you choose to apply.
