Multidisciplinary hybrid training: managerial expertise (finance, marketing, strategy) and technical expertise in collecting, analyzing and using data to drive business performance.
Pooling Resources
Audencia and Centrale Nantes have created a synergy that allows them to pool their material and learning resources. Students have access to all the schools' campuses in France and abroad, media libraries, laboratories, corporate and alumni networks...
The Audencia Atlantic Campus and Centrale Nantes sites are located in the heart of one of the city's main university campuses, close to each other and less than a quarter of an hour from downtown Nantes.
Audencia offers 18,000 m2 of diverse, modular classrooms. Each classroom is equipped to adapt to the teaching mode and group work (video projector, audio speakers). The school also has mobile audiovisual and IT resources (digital camcorders, TVs, DVD players, tablet computers).
Centrale Nantes displays nearly 40,000 m2 present on a 16-hectare campus and comprises 17 buildings. In addition to the standard facilities of a university campus (classrooms, media library, computer rooms...), it boasts technological platforms unique in France, modern and varied sports facilities, the incubator common to the 3 Alliance schools (-Centrale- Audencia- Ensa) and an extremely rich student life.
Unique Resources
The Centrale-Audencia-Ensa business incubator is an entrepreneurial support program that aims to create innovative companies in the Pays de la Loire region.
The synergy, unique in France, of three nationally and internationally recognized teaching and research institutions in the fields of engineering, management, communication, design and architecture allows the incubated projects to benefit from exceptional development conditions. The Centrale-Audencia-Ensa incubator is an integral part of the dynamism of the Nantes and Loire regions, through its strong involvement in a particularly innovative and entrepreneurial ecosystem.
As part of the Pays de la Loire Region's Connect Talent project, a supercomputer has been installed at Centrale Nantes since late 2015, making it one of the most powerful regional data centers in France in its class (Tier2 class). A state-of-the-art facility, it provides access to unprecedented levels of precision, changing the game and unlocking new potential for innovation.
Intensive digital computing is an indispensable tool for research and industry alike: it reduces the cost of testing, facilitates optimization and encourages creativity and the exploration of new solutions. Computing resources are also an indicator of a region's or a nation's research and development.
High-Performance Computing (HPC) involves the use of acquisition, modeling, or analysis software on supercomputers with thousands of processors capable of performing billions of operations per second to model complex phenomena or process or qualify large amounts of data. They are also a set of servers designed to run long-running processes to compute programs massively and intensively. These supercomputers can be seen as a large number of machines (computing servers) connected by very fast networks.
The Centrale Nantes is the only higher education institution in France to have such a powerful supercomputer available to the public.
